ABOUT ME:

I am a first generation Chicana born and raised in Tongva land (Los Angeles) and am currently living in Mexico City.

I offer Reiki sessions from a decolonial, earth based and Shinto framework. I am on a personal path for liberation and hold space for others with the same intention.

REIKI TRAINING:

In 2015 I began practicing Reiki for my own personal/spiritual growth and then began to offer it to others in 2020. My initial training was in Western Reiki via the Usui Shiki Ryoho system. This is a system that I have since divested from (See Divesting from Western Reiki for more).

After I began offering sessions to others, I began looking for others that were doing the same and I inevitably learned of my current Reiki teacher Marika Clymer. It was through her teachings that I began to redefine my entire spiritual practices and offerings. My Reiki practice now includes ancestral and land components with a Japanese Shinto framework (elements that were completely missing from Western Reiki). I continue to learn to and deepen my Reiki practice with Marika’s guidance to this day.

NUSTA PAQO APPRENTICE:

I was introduced to the Q’ero body of wisdom via lineage carrier Marilu Shinn in 2021. From her I have learned the basic foundations of the Q’ero lineage. Her teachings have deepened my understanding of the medicine woman archetype from a decolonial, earth based perspective.  

I formally began my training under Q’ero Inca lineage via the Inca Medicine School in Spring of 2023. I received my First Karpay from Pampamesayoq Don Justo Apaza in January of 2024. My training under this lineage is currently on going and do have any offerings under this lineage.
